This is where we throw some legal sounding language at you.  It's really not needed because you've all been invited here, this is a private forum, and so we don't have to deal with all those undesirables that make the Internet such an awful place.  But we'll leave some of the legal language because it makes the website look more professional and all.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this website. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to express their counter view and thus engage in discussion.  That's the whole point and is what separates a forum from a diary entry.  Plus, you might just sway that other person's opinion or maybe, probably not but maybe, they will convince you that what you thought was objectionable is actually a valid viewpoint.  That being said, you always have the option of averting your own eyes and blocking a user (ie the "ignore" function) so that you do not see their content while others, who may wish to, can continue to consider their contributions.  Please do not report messages (as is so popular on social media) because we are not going to censor anybody and we are not going to ban anybody for their viewpoint.

We will not supply any information to the government without a warrant signed by a judge.  We're old school that way.

Our software uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a personalized experience when you browse this site.  We don't collect information or use it for nefarious purposes.  We don't want to compete with the government.

Enjoy yourself here and thank you for adding to the discussion.  Let's do try to be civil with each other as much as humanly possible (we recognize that sometimes it's not) and to have a good time.
